3) To build a strong alumni network with regular interaction, enable to improved training and placement opportunities for students.  
4) To motivate and encourage faculty members to actively participate in need based training programmes and research projects with industrial collaboration.

Programme Educational Objectives

1) To nurture students with strong fundamental concepts of Textile Engineering, enabling ability to find innovative and sustainable solutions in Textile Industries.
2) To develop course curriculum through a continuous process, enabling students to adapt as per the latest technological advances in the Textile Industries.
3) To develop team spirit, work ethics and management abilities in students through group task,projects and industrial training programs.
4) To build engineers with the attitude of lifelong learning, enabling them to fulfil their personal goals.

Programme Details 

The Department train the students suitably in accordance with the changing demands of textile mills due to the development in manufacturing techniques and installation of modern machine in the industry. The department has laboratories viz. spinning, weaving, fabric testing are equipped with latest equipments and instruments.

WORKSHOP & LABORATORY FACILITIES :

THE WORKSHOP IS IN TWO SECTIONS

1) SPINNING WORKSHOP AND
2) WEAVING WORKSHOP. THERE ARE CONVENTIONAL MACHINES OF SPINNING AND WEAVING.

THE LABORATORY HAS ALL THE TESTING FACILITIES LIKE FIBER TESTING, YARN TESTING AND FABRIC TESTING.
